Foodi Hot & Cold Blender & Soup Maker

Another of my favourite kitchen appliances. I am a big lover of home made vegetable soup. This is another all in one appliance that sautees onions before then adding the rest of the ingredients. Cooking and blending the soup meaning i use far less and have less to clean. I can also just set it off and leave it and come back to a finished soup. The self clean feature is also great. It doesn’t eliminate all need for cleaning but it does a great job of cleaning the jug so just an external wipe down is needed. The lid can go into the dishwasher so cleaning up after soup is minimal compared to what i used to be. A fantastic product.

I bought this as my husband had a throat operation and needed to be on soft food for a good while - my original thought was another appliance which is going to sit on work surface and hardly used ... well i was wrong I have made some great nutritious delicious soups so far and so quick put chopped veg in stock cube water press the button and 30 mins later done - I am not one to faff about in kitchen and this ninja will get used most def - one criticism is that if you lift out jug to pour some soup then the blender goes off the keeping heat mode - but otherwise can’t fault it and it also has an efficient self clean function !

So I just fancied being able to do soup occasionally without all the ‘big soup pot, hours of standing stirring, keeping a constant eye on it boiling too much or too little’ Wow! This soup maker is IT! I put everything in and start. By the time I’ve done something else it beeps and tells me it ready. I can do it easily before going to work in the morning or while I’m tidying up the dinner dishes in the evening. So so easy. The result is, I’m making soup at least weekly, different soups even for hubby and myself (we have different preferences for soups) I love it. I can’t wait to try out the other facilities within it.
